OUR STORY
Our journey stared in North Africa almost thirty years ago. We travelled extensively and marvelled at the products we saw which were unavailable to the Irish market. It was then we decided to retail crafted furniture and accessories from around the globe. Our first Global Village store in Ireland was in Glasthule and it opened in 1989. It was a huge success with people of the area and we soon moved to the Blackrock Centre in 1993. This was the store where many of our current customers first came to know us. Global Village at Powerscourt, in the magnificent Powerscourt House in Enniskerry, followed in 1999 and our Global Village showrooms in KCR Dublin 12 arrived in 2005.
NEPTUNE BY GLOBAL VILLAGE
When we met the people from Neptune in 2008 and we realised we had a shared vision for excellence in quality, design, and customer service. In time, we aligned ourselves completely with our shared values and ethos in doing business in an ethical and sustainable way. And so we set about enriching our customers lives by making life less ordinary and more extraordinary in their home environment. We do this through great thoughtful design and the use of the best quality materials to help make your home tranquil, peaceful, stylish and a place that you will truly enjoy every moment that you spend there. This has become the passion of all our team and is immediately obvious when you speak to anyone in our showrooms. Our journey continues with Neptune by Global Village and we hope you can joins us on our journey, so we can inspire yours.
ABOUT US
Now in its 30th year, Global Village, owned and managed by Martin and Colette, has become a name synonymous with Neptune and Interior Design in South Dublin. We are still (if not more) enthusiastic about interiors, furniture and design as we were when we started this journey in 1990. Our relationship with Neptune and our interaction with their designers and craftspeople have been a key element in our business direction. We have such admiration and respect for the Neptune Brand and the company ethos. Their commitment to good design, lasting quality and ethical manufacturing, makes us proud and energised to continue on this journey, helping you to create beautiful homes.
Both our showrooms – Kimmage and Powerscourt showcase the biggest range of Neptune products in Ireland including kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, upholstery, garden and accessory products. Laid out in actual room settings and decorated with the range of Neptune’s own paint palette, the result is stunning.

OUR SHOWROOMS
Neptune by Global Village operates from two beautiful and extensive showrooms. Our 6000 square foot showroom in Kimmage is the largest Neptune showroom in Ireland and is beautifully arranged in showcase living, dining, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen spaces.
We have recently refurbished and upgraded our Powerscourt showroom, also now exclusively Neptune. Powercourt showcases a range of dining, living, bedroom and bathroom layouts, furniture and accessories.
