A NEW WAY OF WORKING
Our virtual doors are wide open. Whether it’s a video consultation with a designer, a chat on the phone with one of our home specialists, or just a second opinion through email, if you’re decorating your home, our design team is still here for you. Just call 01 405 5035, and we will connect you to one of the team.
If you have a project – be that an urgent case of getting a home office in place – or something you have wanted to do but did not have the time to focus on it until now, then we would love to help. We have outlined an alternative consultation process that will allow us to discuss and understand your needs, while both parties remain at home. You are still assured of our full attention right through to installation.
YOUR VIRTUAL DESIGN PROCESS
1. PHONE DISCUSSION
We begin with some emails and a phone call and to get an introduction to what you are looking for. This is where you’ll get to talk us through your ideas, wishes and wants. We would discuss the project brief and time scale, agree the scope and design cost, based on the number of rooms involved.
2. THE DETAILS
If you want to go ahead, we will need you to send us the measurements of the rooms, and some photos of how the space looks right now. A video would also be great, to give us a good perspective. You can also send us any Pinterest boards you have created, photos and images of furniture and styles that you like. You complete our virtual briefing form online, and we also discuss any other trades or services you need.
3. DESIGN PRESENTATION
We will be able to carry out our meeting online, via a simple to use conference call application. Even though the presentations will not be done face to face, being able to share our screens with you will allow us to present your concept design, layout and mood boards. We hope you will find this as an innovative way to complete your project from the comfort of your home.
4. CONFIRMATION & DELIVERY
If everything is to your satisfaction, and we have created the final “Shopping List” (and you pay a deposit for the confirmed order) we can commit your order, you sit back and await delivery to complete your room transformation. Please note, if installation or other services are needed, we will be guided by government guidelines. We can also arrange a live video tour after delivery to see if any finishing touches are needed and to ensure that everything works perfectly in your home.
DESIGN PACKAGE OPTIONS
“Having just completed a major house renovation project, the next challenge was to come up with interior designs that would work well, especially in our new open plan living area. Global Village staff were very knowledgeable and creative in putting together solutions that look great but still meet the practical needs to survive family living”
DESIGN TO LAST
One of the many wonderful traits of Neptune – which we like to emulate – is their design ethos. With Neptune and Global Village we believe in a design that will evolve and grow with you. Our lives move on rapidly and our needs and likes change. Our design needs to reflect life’s evolvement and not look like it got left behind.
Take for example the colour schemes introduced seasonally by Neptune. A new shade that sits beautifully with the existing palette. That allows you to introduce a new throw, lamp or cushions, giving your room a fresh lift yet sitting so comfortably within its overall design. Each season an addition complimenting the previous one. Its what our customers say “As the product ranges have been chosen to compliment each other in a relaxed way it was easy to build schemes step by step. As well as enabling me to spread out costs this incremental approach led to a less daunting experience as design decisions were also phased over time. I’m delighted with the results which include the incorporation of many “legacy” pieces such as my original sofa, also chosen from Global Village 10 years ago!”
Timeless in design, long lasting in quality. “We pay attention to trends but we try to transcend them. We’re not interested in come and go. We’re in it for the long haul”
